Local Company celebrates winner of the International Ice Cream Associations

Employee of the Year Award

October 9, 2017 – Redmond, Wa – MOONIE Icy Tunes Ice Cream Catering, located in Redmond, WA is proud to announce that Heidi Schimpf has won the International Ice Cream Distributors and Vendors Association Employee of the year award!

Heidi has been employed with MOONIE Icy Tunes since 2012. In her time with the company, she quickly showed her potential and aptitude for success and professionalism. She is currently the company’s Senior Ice Cream Specialist, handling training of new employees as well as working all large catered events.  In her time at MOONIE Icy Tunes, Heidi has delivered exceptional customer service leading to return customers and business growth every year.

While working with MOONIE Icy Tunes, Heidi has enjoyed meeting all kinds of people, experiencing the vast array of businesses we cater to and exploring the beauty of the pacific northwest.  She is currently studying midwifery at Bastyr University.

Heidi will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to the amazing Grand Sheraton at Wild Horse Pass located in Phoenix, Arizona in November.  She will accept the award during a ceremony and is invited to a banquet dinner with Michelle Barton, President of the IAICDV and President at Southern Ice Cream Corporation located in Houston, Texas.
